    Ethics Café: The Ethics of Democracy

    MARL RELEASE – 2019 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 6, 2019

    WINNIPEG, MB – Please run the following public service announcement until November 29, 2019:

    The public is invited to attend Ethics Café: The Ethics of Democracy at Joe Black Coffee Bar on November 15, 2019. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and will finish at 9:00 p.m.

    The Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties, in partnership with the University of Manitoba Centre for Professional and Applied Ethics, is pleased to announce the next installment of the Ethics Café series, the Ethics of Security.

    The Ethics Café will ask participants to join the discussion on ethical issues surrounding democracy. The Ethics Café aims to encourage community dialogue and critical thinking on every day happenings. Hosted by Professor Neil McArthur of the University of Manitoba Centre for Applied and Professional Ethics, and facilitated by MARL’s Human Rights Experts, it will be an enlightened good time! The event will be held on Friday, November 15th at Joe Black Coffee Bar (2037 Portage Ave).

    The discussion is open to everyone by donation. No answer prep is necessary.
