Law Day 2010

Each year, various Associations work together to host Law Day; a national event at which the public can learn about law, the legal profession and some of the legal institutions that form the cornerstone of Canadian democracy.

The 2010 Law Day will take place between 12 noon and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 at the Law Courts building located at 408 York Avenue in Winnipeg.

This year’s activities will include guided tours of the Law Courts and Lock-Up, interactive exhibits and displays, student mock trials and debates in English and French, legal information panel discussions, and a special sitting of Citizenship Court.
