The Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene and Metis peoples. Our primary office is located on Treaty 1 Territory as well as the birthplace and homeland of the Métis Nation, though our work extends throughout Treaties 2, 3, 4 and 5. We respect the Treaties formed on these territories, and acknowledge that We Are All Treaty People. We recognize the genocide and colonization endured by Indigenous peoples, and we are committed to working in partnership with Indigenous communities toward justice, equity, and reconciliation.
