Annual General Meeting
The Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday June 21st , 2010 at the MARL Office 507-294 Portage Ave. (Doors to the building are open until 6:00 pm)
- 5:30 pm Registration and membership renewal.
- 6:00 pm Call to Order
- Budget Approval. Board Elections. Open House.
- Refreshments will be served.

Law Day 2010
Each year, various Associations work together to host Law Day; a national event at which the public can learn about law, the legal profession and some of the legal institutions that form the cornerstone of Canadian democracy.
The 2010 Law Day will take place between 12 noon and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 at the Law Courts building located at 408 York Avenue in Winnipeg.
March 21 Panel Discussion
March 21 is the United Nations Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
In honour of the event the Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties presents lunch hour panel discussion on current issues surrounding racism.
Join us from 12:00 - 1:00pm
Sunday March 21st at the Mondragon café (91 Albert Street)
~A light lunch and refreshments will be provided~
Black History Month
February is Black History Month. MARL is pleased to support the various events that will be taking place throughout the month to celebrate the past and present achievements of Black people in Manitoba.

Recipients of the Human Rights Commitment Award of Manitoba and the Sybil Shack Human Rights Youth Award
On Wednesday December 9, 2009, the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties will jointly present the Human Rights Commitment Award of Manitoba and the Sybil Shack Human Rights Youth Award during a luncheon at the Kum Koon Garden Restaurant.
