BP Oil Spill: There is Good Reason to Cry over Spilled Oil*
Through reading an article, watching an interview and finding the volume of the Gulf of Mexico, students will investigate the extent of the damage from the oil spill. They will reflect on possible solutions and the impacts of those solutions.

Students calculate and compare the ecological footprint of many countries and figure out how many planets would be needed to sustain this size of footprint.
